MAMA'S LITTLE PILLS (Davisson-J 2020)

MAMA'S LITTLE PILLS comes from my small-flowered, tetraploid sculpted-cristate program and is a cross of PANIC IN PRESCHOOL X TET HEAVENLY ANGEL ICE. While it missed my goal of having sculpted cristate tissue, the genetics are "in there" and the plant so exceptional, I had to introduce this 7" diamond dusted peachy pink self with its strongly curled and twisting sepals with a splash of emerald on the backside! Blooms have a heavy, waxy, rain-proof substance. The scape height is 32" with ideal 4- and 5-way branching that averages 30 buds. I've recorded as many as 39 buds and it reblooms, too, so it produces a LOT of flowers in the early to midseason and beyond. It is easily fertile both ways with impeccable foliage and hardy, semi-evergreen plant habit offering lots of genetic potential for the hybridizer as well as a unique garden plant.
